Ok so that's the stats for the product .
Here's what Estée Lauder say about the product
I agree - I don't look oily with this. I love NARS sheer glow but it will slip and slide if I don't blot throughout the day. It will definitely move if I don't prime. This will stay put and I agree with the 15 hour statement.
I can wear this all night dancing. Pass out. Wake up the next morning with a full un-smudged face.
To remove this a face wipe will not do. A face wipe will never do, but it really needs a face oil and a double cleanse to thoroughly remove all of this product.
The claim that it goes on sheer is laughable. It's not sheer at all. It's a medium coverage foundation. It's not as heavy as the regular double wear but not much is.
What I find with Estée Lauder is they have the double wear BB cream. Then they have the double wear light which they market as light coverage. They then say double wear is medium and then the double wear maximum is full coverage.
In their range double wear light is the lightest coverage. Compared to the rest of the market it would be considered medium buildable. Double wear would be full and double wear maximum would be used for people with tattoos or scars. Not a day to day foundation.
Does it feel natural on the skin? Compared to double wear yes. I know when I have double wear on. It can feel like a mask. However, the foundation is more noticeable than others. But it is not uncomfortable.
It does stay vibrant and fresh and it won't melt off. That is a very true statement.
Of course if you go swimming it may move but I bet not as much as you would have expected.
How to apply. Use your fingers or beauty blender for a soft focus glow. Use a flat foundation brush for more coverage. Alternatively add a little illuminator to it and have a very fresh glowing complection that lasts.
This is a lovely product. If you find the double wear too heavy but still want decent coverage and longevity give this a try.
The packaging is much easier to use than the double wear also as its a tube rather than a glass bottle. The colour range isn't as vast however with it being lighter coverage you can blend it out easier.
Estée Lauder are pretty good at giving out testers sk pop down to your local supplier and try before you buy.
Remember to wear it all day and to look at your skin in natural light. I tend to take a photo with the flash on to see how it will look if I wear it to an event.
